The Basic requirement of the Japanese to compliance with font of calligraphy, is that writing each features deliberately divided into three stages. It is logical that each stage requires not only the utmost concentration, but also special care, in order to end the end to the desired line. This is the basic principles of Japanese letters taught the first class at school, Ten–Chi.
Learn with them through a certain period of time, the student proceeds to a new level of complexity: derived traits. From the point of view of the art of calligraphy, a variety of derivatives the devil can be a huge amount, but if to consider them from the point of view graphics, their diversity can, in a sense, to organize.
a Derived trait is a the graphic below, which differs from the basic fact that its an overlay develops basic in the direction of "peredomnoy" or curve. In the end, each derivative retains the written direction of the primary features. Despite the number of possible fractures (maximum of four), written all over, in the same way as the main, without departing calligrapher's pen from the paper.
Developed in Japanese writing octogram system allocates only 22 derived features, with some and it can be missed.
the Main distinguishing point derived features is its source part. At the same time between different derived traits identifitseerida through points of curvature and peredomnoy for. Most often this can be seen in the interval between the Exodus and its features attack.
as for writing derivatives then, as the classic the font of calligraphy, they should write from left to right or top to bottom, but in any case not on the contrary. Special cases occur, but they are resolved in favor of the classical rules by analyzing each individual time derivative in the boundaries: the direction of each individual of its length strictly complies with all requirements.
In the specialized far East the literature, each derived trait has its own special name. In school Ten–Chi, to simplify the learning process, we model a specific title derivatives, a simple numbering system with two digits: the first indicates the main feature, and the second shows the position before us derived traits among other traits with the same production. Thus, used in our school, the numbering system helps to identify the internal connection between the basic and derived features. In turn, when necessary this approach can be used for classification characters depending on their contained features.
